Since power is one of the primary raw material in steelmaking, we are focusing strongly on minimizing the environmental impact of the power we use. Most conventional steel plants use thermal power which is produced by burning coal and other fossil fuels, negatively impacting the environment. We at Amba Shakti have embarked upon a journey to fully replace our conventional “brown” power with clean, renewable “Green” power.
With our captive solar and wind power plants already in operation, a major portion of our energy needs are met by renewables today. We are steadily moving towards our goal of running on 100% Green Energy in the near future.
Apart from this we have entirely eliminated coal and other fossil fuels from our production processes. Keeping in mind the quality of air we breathe in, we have also installed Advanced Pollution Control Systems & Emission Reduction Technologies in our plants, making our steel Greener than ever before.

Backward integration began with setting up in-house induction furnaces for premium mild steel ingot production, ensuring quality at the core.
Hot charging commenced with the installation of CCM. Rolling mill upgrades followed, significantly elevating productivity and precision.
Our massive expansion brought in high-speed horizontal and vertical rolling mills, high-capacity induction furnaces, and a next-generation CCM, redefining both scale and performance.
Our transition to Green Steel began. Today, we harness solar and wind energy to produce steel with zero fossil fuels, building strength sustainably.
